Warm-up Winter Workouts!

As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter, the willingness to stay fit begins to decline. Our Monday Motivation Mood this week is a few tips to stay in shape for the summer body make! 

When it’s cold out and your home is so warm, you find yourself finding reasons to not put on your high waisted leggings and go for a run. Sound familiar? 

The first tip would be finding reasons why you should work out rather than why not. For example, why not schedule the run for sunset rather than shying away from the dark. Or feeling cold and wanting to put on the heating, why not have an indoor workout and get the blood pumping. So for every reason, you find to not workout find a better reason to workout!

The next tip would be a wardrobe overhaul, swapping the Capri Leggings to Full-length leggings or even High Waisted Leggings. Swapping for warmer wear for the winter really makes exercise more encouraging for the coldest of days. 

The last tip would be to mix up the music, getting rid of the summer tracks and swapping them in for motivational upbeat music. Take off repeat the ‘Calvin Harris-Summer’ song and swap it for ‘Viva La Vida - Coldplay.’
