Despite common misconceptions, Yoga is an umbrella term and does not directly refer to any one thing or practice. The word "Yoga" itself is a word of Sanskrit origin, that translates as meaning "unite" or "union".
The word unite suggests the presence of various elements that are available to be fused in the first instance. This is certainly true of the practice; there are several different types of yoga, each with varying commitments and objectives. Though yoga is often seen as spiritual and conflated with religion, the practice itself supersedes religion as the practice is enjoyed widely by people that subscribe to a plurality of faiths and backgrounds irrespective of such difference. What makes yoga unique is that there is a variation that works for everyone.
Here at Piyax, we uphold that the best thing about yoga is that it encourages a greater exploration of mind, body and soul. It facilitates the discovery of all that is unique about the self.
At Piyax we choose to recognise and celebrate what makes us unique - our bold prints and bright styles. You are uniquely designed, why would you wear something that wasn't?
