TSKB’s 2026 First Quarter Net Profit 2.9 Billion Lira

TSKB’s net quarterly profit for the first quarter of 2026 was announced as 2.9 billion lira. This result came in line with the bank’s sustainable finance goals and green transformation efforts. In the first quarter, TSKB provided long-term financing support to the Turkish economy of approximately $820 million, and the growth rate on a currency-adjusted basis was 6.3%.

In addition to TSKB’s operational performance, the decline in provision expenses on a quarterly basis due to protected asset quality and ongoing collections supported the bank’s income. In this context, the bank’s net quarterly profit for the first three months reached 2.9 billion lira, and the return on equity was at a level of 25%, in line with year-end projections.

In April, TSKB signed a resource agreement with the French Development Agency (AFD) worth 150 million euros, which is the 9th cooperation, aiming to provide financing support to investments in the field of circular economy in Turkey and to companies that aim to improve their practices in this field.

Sustainable Finance Goals

TSKB, the bank that updated its sustainable finance goals upwards, increased its financing goal linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) from $10 billion to $15 billion by 2030, and its climate finance goal from $4 billion to $5 billion. The bank, which also focuses on social development in addition to environmental development, set a new social finance goal of $3 billion for the 2024-2030 period.

TSKB’s sustainable finance goals, green transformation efforts, and social finance goals show that the bank is focused on a responsible and long-term business model. This approach can be considered as a long-term growth strategy for both the sustainable growth of the Turkish economy and the bank itself.

In addition to its activities, the bank’s funding structure, which is further supported by new resources obtained from international capital markets and development finance institutions, continues to support its growth strategy. This shows that TSKB is committed to reaching its long-term goals and has allocated the necessary resources.

Green Transformation and Sustainability

TSKB, in order to support its green transformation efforts, emphasized investments in renewable energy, energy and resource efficiency, electrification, climate industries, and investments that empower women’s employment, including capacity increase in the production sector, earthquake region financing, and storage investments. This approach came in line with the bank’s environmental sustainability goals and can be considered as a long-term growth strategy.

TSKB’s green transformation efforts show the bank’s responsibilities and long-term goals. This approach can be considered as a long-term growth strategy for both the sustainable growth of the Turkish economy and the bank itself. In addition to its activities, the bank’s funding structure, which is further supported by new resources obtained from international capital markets and development finance institutions, continues to support its growth strategy.
